i just have to say...

Today started out with a funny moment... i went to my bank around lunch time so the parking lot was full. i circled and spotted an empty spot on the other row so i quickly whipped around the isle to be able to get it... another car spotted it and i kid you not whipped into the spot at around 30 miles an hour, but in his haste to beat me to the spot he pulled in crooked and too close to the car on his left. so close that there was no way that he could have gotten out! so i was at first cussing him out in my mind, but in all fairness knew that i would have gladly done the same thing to him if i would have beaten him to the spot. But don't you worry i got him back. As soon as he stole my spot i see another car about to pull out a few spots down the row so i pull up and literally blocked him in so that he couldn't back out enough to straighten out and be able to get out of his car. He sat there trapped while i pulled into my spot and walked into the building before he was even able to get into the spot correctly. lesson learned mister stealer of my parking spot... I WIN! lol!

a short story by Nicomi

I was talking to my sister and i told her this story from my teenage years...

I was never one to be ashamed of what my car looked like... to me my car was a way to get from point A to point B. So when my car "the boat" finally coughed up its last life i would borrow my dad's car that looked like the car above except it was white. i would get to borrow the car when my dad didn't need it and it would save me from having to take the bus... the only downside to the car is that it would pour black smoke out the exhaust... i do not exaggerate... huge clouds of billowy black smoke flying out the back when you pushed down on the gas... it would last for the first 5-10 minutes of the car being on than it would be OK... so imagine being a teenager in this amazing car. I would drive it with pride because i knew i wasn't walking or taking the bus... on this day that will live on in my mind, i had my brother and his girlfriend audrey in the car we were driving home on County Rd. going by the library when this smarty pants guy made a crack about the car loud enough that i could hear him. so faster than you could blink your eye i pull over so that the tail end of the car was about 20 feet in front of him, i quickly put the car in park and my foot on the gas and went to town... you should have seen the CLOUDS of smoke... it was so dark and thick it was like night back there... the guy pushes his way through the smoke and i quickly roll down my window and yell out... "HEY, AT LEAST WE AREN'T WALKING!" well the "we" really weren't in the car, i looked back to make sure that my brother and his girlfriend had my back only to see them laying down so that nobody could see them... I guess i was the only one that wasn't embarrassed about the car!

the greatest homework ever turned in!

"I am going to tell you about my aunt Nicomi. When we went to legoland we went of rides that were fun. My aunt Nicomi is kind, helpful and she let me go on the playgrownd. We play tag. I was faster than her but she took a short cat. I got taged then i taged her back. She is special because I always see her every Sunday and when..."

"...go on a trip we always feel happy. I am glad she's in my family and I love her."
written by my adorable, smart little nephew Tyler! I love him! He definitely deserves the E+ that he got!

Happy Birthday Nesha!

oh the joys of disneyland! we piled in the van and watched looney tunes all the way up to anaheim, i giggled hard at the video forgetting that looney tunes is freakin' funny! porter made me laugh when we were about to pull into the park, mom i don't think we're in san diego anymore. NOPE... WE'RE AT DISNEYLAND!

jake has more energy than i would ever know what to do with! by they end of the day i was soooo tired and he just kept bouncing along! joel and shannon came down and took part in the festivities... however when you have a sick son and a daughter that scratched her cornea you don't stay long
mom and i on a thunder mountain... she couldn't believe i kept taking pictures through the whole thing

paul was the general hauler of people i think... pushing mom up hills was no problem, but down them SUCKS!!!
Nesha and i at the beginning of the day... she told me she loves my devious mind as we were sitting waiting in the handicap lines on space mountain. Moral of the story, my mom is now the permanent disneyland person! I will take her and get on all the rides through the wheelchair access which really means getting to jump to the front of the lines. it costs 12 dollars at the end of the day, well worth not standing around waiting for ever in lines! we rode 13 rides, ate overpriced food, laughed, got separated, got irritated when the other person wouldn't answer the phone, got back together when the other person would actually answer, we ran people over with the wheelchair, skipped the lines, loved on poor little bella, celebrated one of the greatest woman i have ever known, and loved being together! can a day be any better than that? but really nothing compares to time spent with family!

so here is my mom sucking up her pride to be sat and pushed through disneyland!!! we all got a kick out of it, but really at the end of the day i am thankful that we did... i can't imagine the pain she would have been in had we not pushed her into this!!! is she not the most adorable person you have seen? i have a couple of good pictures that i am not posting out of respect but dang they are funny!
