Happy Birthday Nesha!

oh the joys of disneyland! we piled in the van and watched looney tunes all the way up to anaheim, i giggled hard at the video forgetting that looney tunes is freakin' funny! porter made me laugh when we were about to pull into the park, mom i don't think we're in san diego anymore. NOPE... WE'RE AT DISNEYLAND!

jake has more energy than i would ever know what to do with! by they end of the day i was soooo tired and he just kept bouncing along! joel and shannon came down and took part in the festivities... however when you have a sick son and a daughter that scratched her cornea you don't stay long

paul was the general hauler of people i think... pushing mom up hills was no problem, but down them SUCKS!!!

Nesha and i at the beginning of the day... she told me she loves my devious mind as we were sitting waiting in the handicap lines on space mountain. Moral of the story, my mom is now the permanent disneyland person! I will take her and get on all the rides through the wheelchair access which really means getting to jump to the front of the lines. it costs 12 dollars at the end of the day, well worth not standing around waiting for ever in lines! we rode 13 rides, ate overpriced food, laughed, got separated, got irritated when the other person wouldn't answer the phone, got back together when the other person would actually answer, we ran people over with the wheelchair, skipped the lines, loved on poor little bella, celebrated one of the greatest woman i have ever known, and loved being together! can a day be any better than that? but really nothing compares to time spent with family!

so here is my mom sucking up her pride to be sat and pushed through disneyland!!! we all got a kick out of it, but really at the end of the day i am thankful that we did... i can't imagine the pain she would have been in had we not pushed her into this!!! is she not the most adorable person you have seen? i have a couple of good pictures that i am not posting out of respect but dang they are funny!

a night of ball!

i got to go hang with some of my favorite people, watch my favorite team, eat all you can eat hot dogs and nacho's, sing the seventh inning stretch song and walk a long way to and from the game and watch the scary dodger fans heckle and throw food at GIANTS fans! What a day!

so i just got one story that still makes me laugh about this night. this random smelly drinking guy that i was sitting on and i started talking and laughing when the crowd started heckling people. we turn around to see what GUY it was that they were booing when lo and behold its 2 GIRLS. they are throwing food at them and yelling at these poor girls that just happened to cheer on the right team. this make-up wearing, pierced face guy and i started to laugh when he says "you know that if we were sitting in any other pavilion besides the all you can eat pavillion people wouldn't be throwing food. not in this economy, they would be thinking to themselves, hey i paid for these peanuts..." totally true!

annie made me sing Dodgers... outta respect i did... also a little out of fear! but please note i forget the words and try to fake it... doesnt work!

today i got to hang out and see my highschool friends... its been 14 years since we last saw each other... so here is the thing, for the most part i have no desire, nor can i remember people when people say someones name from highschool. but these 2 girls were my real friends. i got to spend a lot of time with my friend gloria, i got to do her hair and hear that they diagnosed her with stage 4 stomach cancer, but she battled it and now the doctor isnt sure just what to do with her because the mass has gone down, still there but not the size of her fist! YEAH! she has a little son that was really young when she first got diagnosed with it. glo is just one of those people that has this amazing love of life, she is freakin funny and is always up to mischief... its one of the reasons that we get along. talking to her made me think of my own mortality. i would have to say as much as i love my life, i have to say that i have been so richly blessed that as sad as it would be to end this life i would be ok knowing that without a doubt i loved with my whole heart and was loved in return. thats a good thought. the bride to be's name fits her to a tee... its sunny. she is a ray of sunshine, not a judgemental bone in her body and truly makes people around her feel welcomed and love. she loves and i love it! i realized tonight that its kinda fun to learn how to do lap dances and to be silly... but just so you know, i didn't but i watched and i sure did giggle a lot! so i will add that to my list of wasteless knowledge, kinda like when my grandma showed me how to do the sexy walk! :) oh the memories, lots of laughs, and the fact that we just picked up like it was yesterday that i last saw them! thats the sign of true friends!

one of my favorite things about my manly older brother james is his love of kids and how they adore him right back! He will grab 'em and walk around with them like footballs tucked into his arm but he will love on them and make them smile... its something that makes me happy to be able to watch!

Every year i find myself going over my year, basically taking inventory and making my "new years" resolutions. I find myself thinking about what it was that i learned, saw, loved, so here's a few pictures, that in now way say all that i have done but you get the picture! I have a lot to work on, a lot of new things i want to learn, but i have another year to become a little bit more amazing!

so i was cranky this weekend... i don't have a lot to blog about because i have about 10 toooo many projects going on and life is full of twists and turns, so when i thought about blogging it wasnt going to be a nice blog! i thought for the niceness of peoples eyes i wouldn't have a blog full of curse words... if you want that just take a drive with me! lol!
